looking back, realizing what I left behind;
all my friends and all those good times.

Then I see you and realize what I have done.

beyond the loss of control,
lies apathy... indifference towards the soul
In the vast nothingness where anguish and sorrow
lay their eggs.
In the vast nothingness, where you
keep your head low
coz if you look up into the crowd of faces,
stuck in their own desolate places
far beyond what's beyond control
you see this blind happiness that
is not the real side of me.
nothing is as it appears.
bitterness and denial
appear as the twinkling... of my smile.
