i sleep through the mornings
the afternoons just seem boring
the evenings, i drink away.
cos the media's still whoring
qualities i'm adoring
in a girl that walks my way.
and everyone seems angry
in no apparent direction,
perhaps just at themselves
for New Year's resolutions
they found it a solution
to just let themselves forget.
and my head is still aching
from those pills i was taking
to let MY brain forget.
